hey guys, wondering what the price of a new sub black bazel stainless steel in sg right now? Am currently in uk and saw one going at 3.2k gbp. Seems like a good deal with the 17.5% vat.

Has anyone gotten their watches in uk before? Is the vat claim a hassle?

If I remember correctly, In London Airport, the VAT rebate counter is located after you check in, I might be wrong. Anyway don't think anyone will check in Rolex with their luggage. Just get ready the form with receipt and present the watch over counter.

There should be some admin fee apply, don't think you will get all 17.5% back.

With date? quite unbelievable if it is the model 16610, the price difference after VAT rebate is more than an air ticket to UK liao.

Still a very good deal, assuming you can get back at least 10% vat refund. The submariner without date (model 14060)'s recommended retail price is $7,664 in SGP.

Not sure how much discount you can get from ADs here. Even if the ADs here give you 20% discount, it still cheaper there.

So, the conclusion is buy buy buy...
