It was really nice of bro feudallordcult to offer help for the 16710. Sorry bad news even in the states it is getting harder to find one!I have been searching high and low since feb. Found afew sources, but they hold back or ask for prices of the new GMT IIc...
Even the AD there very firm, would not give discount at all!Bros here, dun waste time scout around AD here..i have had done that. They said "old model nomore, only 116 models now".I have came across some sellers from the US,they have lots of 16710s!(mostly Z series)I suspect they are resellers, they buy in as much as they can find this 16710 and sell them at the forums.

            update from vancouver

my brother just got back from canada. quite a number of gmt-IIc but didn't see any new 16710 on display in AD. he however saw a few pre-owned 16710in the grey dealers but asking prices were all over the roof.

Yes! You're right! a new GMTIIc is selling at US$6750. Saw that at Stanford Mall last month. Also saw Sub LV selling at US$6250.

Why I didn't buy?? The sales tax is 8.25% and take exchange rate of 1.38, the new GMTIIc will be S$10083 and Sbu LV will be S$9336. I can get better prices from our local dealers.
