All I can tell...go by your feeling. Go to shop and try it out yourself.
Sorry, can't give a very specific answer. All I know,
Green Sub ---> model for 50 years anniversary;
SD ---> discontinued model (potentially a collectable model).
Any comments from other?

I heard that SD has 5 fixed links on one side and 4 on the other. This means that unless your wrists is reasonably large, the deployment clasp might not sit in the centre.
hence, better to try out both and see for yourself which suits you and feels more comfortableI dont need another watch, I dont need another watch, I dont need another watch, I dont need another watch.........

I have both, and enjoyed both tremendously. Having said that, I do wear the Sea Dweller a little more often as I find the green bezel on the 16610 LV slightly more difficult to match my clothes.
Either way, you will be owning a real fine watch!

Frankly it's a choice of your own. Some ppl are comfortable with Green some with black. Difference other then the bazel inserts are the cyclops and the maxi dial that the LV has. SD has a very clean cutting without a cyclops but no maxi dial.
Been wearing my greeny since day 1 cos can only afford this one However the green does get you come attention as it's not like everyone likes green bazel or they have them but don't wear them.Every Rolex tells a story
