  • Super Rare! $20K+? Daytona Zenith 16523 Inverted "6" Diamond Dial. With Cert.

Recently, I was looking for Half Gold Daytona 16523 with Inverted 6 Diamond dial. Must have cert. I also posted in the WTB Section:
    http://sg-roc.com/showthread.php?t=25173.
Even when I increase my offer from $16000 onwards, there wasn't any reply. Don't tell me that I need to increase to 20k? I may have to if someone ask for.

I am looking for one for my Father who used to have one and formy collection.

I would like to know is it Half Gold Daytona 16523 with Inverted 6 Diamond dial so rare? Or the owners all don't want to sell?

I nearly went to all the pre-owned shops in Singapore and searched EBAY and could not find one. I also saw many SS new ones and price dropping for SS Daytonas. Why?

Another question is whether is there Daytona Zenith white gold have inverted 6 diamond dial? As I only see normal white gold Zenith Daytona before.

Can someone help me and the experts here advise me.

    Thanks.

FYI. The rarest of Inverted 9 diamond dial are Solid Gold and pearl diamond dial. The white and black is abit common and most does not have complete set. This watches was retailed during year 1990 to about 2000. So how many people buy these expensive watches during that time and preserve till today with original red box and paper. There might only be only afew piece in the market same as the Paul Newman's. So rare that some collector willing to pay above the current diamond daytona that is above 20k! As for SS daytona, they are so common in the market even taxi drivers also wearing them as the watch is only listed about 13k. So of course the diamond dial is worth to keep as it is elegant and bossy.

Hope this will enhance your search.

              Thanks for the information.

Agreed. The half gold inverted "6" diamond Solid Gold and pearl diamond dial are indeed the rarest. How come SS DAYTONA is so common. so many SS Daytona owners: http://sg-roc.com/showthread.php?p=1...196738Inverted
Is that mean that the SS Daytona resale value is low as due to supply and demand.

That's why I have just increased my offer to $17000 for half gold inverted "6" diamond dial. Will have to increase till someone contact me. Till present no one contact me lah.

              Thanks.

Indeed the diamond dial is supreme rare regardless of inverted or not inverted.

Because less people buy less people sell and RSC don't manufacture so much.
