    Bro, logical if it is a common thing in the all automatic watches.. but problem seems to be with some rolex watches?

    is there a more convincing answer thats able to "zip" me up and accept it as a fact?

    because as mention not all rolexes face this prob.

      erm . . . 1-'some' dun come with rotor?! (selfwinding/older model)
      2-'oil-dry' in need of servicing?
      3-diff model=diff power reserve?
      4- . . .
      i tried, best i can come up with.

        Bro,

        i agree with point number 2.. which means watch need some sort of servicing instead of being just ok or normal.....

          Huh ? In that case, my gmt2 was male before it went to Rolex center for a "service", then it became female..... wah... they changed the sex of my watch !!

          Seriously, after servicing the watch would start up after winding a number of times now. It used to require some additional help. I had assumed that the movement needed some servicing and change of oil.

          Not sure why it's happening on newer watches too !
