so does it mean those who bought at peak will lose more if sell??
or the resale value is based on the series??
i mean let's not compare to those "Y" series collectibles ones..

Do people still think the LV Sub is collectible if it is discontinued next year?

It started production in 2003 as a 50th sub anniversary model. IF it is to be discontinued in 2010, that means a production run of 7 years. Can just imagine how many Sub LVs are already in the market given Rolex's vastly increased production numbers compared to many years back.

I think if you like the watch, then no question, now is a good time to buy it but if you're buying it as an investment, then in my opinion there are better watches to buy and keep.

i like this watch but if the price will slide alot, then i rather not buy..
iam looking at a win-win situation where i like the watch and can hold its value..i guess most watch buyers consider these two points isn't it??

i suppose it has to depend on the demand as well..
anyway,is it possible to check the number of productions to date??

IMO, this watch will not drop any further than the current price from Oversea set of 7k - 7.3k, and local ADs of 8k and above. this is already the best time to buy.
