given a choice, i'd get a sub as i know it's gonna take everything i can throw at it in real life; the crystal sits lower than an exp2/gmt2, triplock WR, and the 3135 has less moving parts/is less fragile than a 3185.
as a regular traveler the past 6 years with a dual time zone watch, i feel they are over-rated in modern day as we have cell phones wherever we go.
i'm better off with one durable, reliable watch that i can abuse - i'm thinking of knocks, scrapes and drops, changing the date after 9pm across time zones, water/sweat resistance and long service intervals.
IMO, if one can live without having a date on the watch, the 14060m is the perfect watch to have... even lesser parts than the 3135!
n/b: i would like it if there was an accurate world time watch, but AFAIK, there's no multiple timezone mechanical watch (world time, not dual time) that's consistently accurate throughout the year due to daylight savings kicking off at different times in different hemispheres.

The first rollie I got was a 16610 SUB DTE but pre-owned.. to see if I liked it..
I love it!!
Then I got a GMT II 16710, also pre-owned... but I love it even more... moreover it was discontinuing and it felt good to have a piece in my collection... Sold the SUB DATE because they look almost similar....
With an aim in mind to get a Brand New SUB DTE eventually.. one day.. sometime..
However, If I were to get a Brand New watch now... I would go for a GMT IIc TT first.. then later a 16610 hahahha.. Cos I kana 'poisoned' deep deep by it...
Just me... so hope you have a better idea of what you want....
