to sell or not to sell

Need some advise.

I currently have a 16660 "triple 6" glossy face with Serial 82xxxx . should be more than 30 years

Any advise if I should sell the watch or keep it?

Any price indication? ( no cert n box. However verified by Rolex Singapore)

Why do people sell away their watches?

They prefer a newer model?
They need some urgent cash?
They want to fund some other new projects?

Personally, I will never sell any of my watches if none of the above hits me.

Really a personal thing but for me I'm more into movements and advancements in technology so vintages are out for me

I'm no vintage expert but I feel that if a certain piece is of sentimental importance, I'll not sell it whatever the price is. Some things just can't be bought back even with several times more money. Wearing this piece and a 2015 sub c just isn't the same.
