Yea man... I have a 16700 full black bezel gmt. S series WITH certificate. Wondering what this piece is worth. Anyone could please care to share the value of 16700 today?

$5.8k best price. what i like is that they have 1 year warranty. But this particular watch no cert. only box.

In my honest opinion ( and for somebody who just bought his first rolex <-- YAYYY!!), i would not get that rolex. If you are a collector, then this reply is not for you as i have no idea what series of Rolex will the the collectors collect.

However, if you are somebody who likes Rolex because of the engineering, and because its really a beautiful beautiful piece of art, then you should get the 116710. Go youtube 116710 vs 16710 and you will see the difference between the watches. I was totally convinced that the 116710 is the right watch to buy.

Now, in your case, it is not even the 16710. It is a older one, 16700. I am very sure you can get at least a 16710 for 5k+ in this forum. Just need to look everyday

just so there is no misinformation:

16700 isn't really "older" than 16710... the older version of 16710 is the 16760 (both are GMT II with an independent red hand).

the older version of the 16700 is the 16750 (no independent hand). the 16700 was sold alongside the 16710 for over 10 years.

but like you, my realistic price is (high) $5k+ for a 16710 in good condition - right now. however market pricing tends to be affected by rules of supply/demand...

They are a reputable dealer and hence will command a premium in their asking. If warranty is solely what you are looking at, you may buy one at a lower price here and have the watch serviced for around S$200-S$300 (some even lesser!) and usually the watchmaker will throw in warranty, from 1 to 2 years, depending on who it is.
