no - the engraving will induce some roughness from the edges where the words are created so it might irritate your hand. some people have tougher skin and this doesn't affect them.

if you want to smoothen the edges out (not remove the words), the caseback will probably have to be refinished after that.

Maybe just a bit of buffing so that the edges wont be rough will do the trick....

What about laser engraving the caseback...?? Will that reduce the comfort of the watch on the wrist...??

I have customized the bezel and dial on my midsize datejust. To me, I love diamonds! So I changed it to diamonds bezel and diamonds dial. Bling bling~

Sometimes I'm just pissed by people saying my watch is a fake or some parts ain't original. I think it's totally very common to custom mod the dial n bezel nowadays. Am I over doing it with my 68273?

A green date on a GMT2C will be a lot easier and nicer (imo) since the 24 hrs hand is also green. I think getting the hand is a lot harder. Unless of course you own both the exp 2 and the GMT2C. Then swapping both will be a breeze!!
