The two-toned watches are always more eye-catching and leave a lasting first impression, more so than the steel versions. I guess it is the contrast that draws the eye.

Over time, the steel watches make up for lost ground by matching more clothes and occasions whilst the TT variants appear when you feel like it or when you want to dress up a bit more.

One does not replace the other - they serve different purposes. It is only a matter of time that you will get both, question now is: which one first.
