Helping a friend to seek advise!

Was asked by a close friend but have no idea, hoping bros here can help.

He has heard (same as me) that the SubC has a logo embossed at 6" o'clock position on the glass.
But what he noticed is that two tones (sub black/gold) doesn't have it.

So actually is it supposed to be there?

Every rolex manufactured after the year 2010 has that.. But there can be some older models having the rolex crown laser etching with an "s" on the sapphire crystal if they had been serviced or made replacements in rsc... Like my old 16613ln which i changed the crystal at rsc and got a newer crystal with the rolex etching..

I also take a pic with my Iphone 5S with a micro lens.
