Even if they were to change the dial for me..they cannot ensure that all the markers doesn't come with shadowing..( I had the choice to change the dial but i choose not to, since I can't be assured that the new dial will be better than the one I'm having) I own 3 Rolex, the other two has been in tip top condition. except for this one.
Can understand the frustration of going through the ordeal and ends up practically nothing done. But don't you agree that through this ordeal you have come to pickup a few more experiences on Time Pieces....and that is the part & parcel of owning time pieces!

Rolex with its high tech manufacturing and assembly plants can't even ensure a consistent application of the lume. Might as buy seiko marine master for its hand painted lume markers

I've seen quite a few in my lifetime too, dont worry, and I've seen worse !

I know its disappointing, there are quite a few discussions on this as well, yes inconsistent lime is not uncommon. Fact is, they are not perfect watches, and just one of the many imperfections people complain about. Tell you ah, if you dare to use a loupe, you will never sleep !

Remember, Rolex is basically a mass market product, even though its expensive. Maybe QC has dropped as well.

After a certain point, price does not equate to quality anymore , sadly..

So why are they so expensive ? Because Rolex knows people are willing to pay for the hype and branding, not so much for quality.

Sorry to hear you had such a bad experience and it's another lesson here for anyone going for these fine watches.
Bring a loupe to scrutinize these fine defects.

After reading your thread I went to look at my sub c and realized have got some shadowing too. Thing is I wore it for last 3 myths without realizing even after repeated staring and gazing at it prior. So just enjoy the watch for what it is if you can. Otherwise you can consider selling.

Yea, you need to really use loupe and view it then it will be really obvious. Quite surprisingly this comes from Rolex. Guess we have to live with it, Imo i don't think it would affect the resale value as well. Since its..getting abit too common
