A few quick qn on the Triplock Crown System on rollies... Do you guys see the o ring that seals the top of the tube to the crown, when the crown is fully extended?
I'm talking abt the top-most red ring in the picture....
According to the above source, the top most o ring should be concealed as the crown extends, thus exposing only the o ring on the outer circumference of the tube...
Funny thing is that I went to a preowned shop to see a submariner and a gmt2 (batman), the submariner doesn't show the top most o ring (i.e. Like what the above pict displays), while the gmt2c exposes the top most o ring when I extend the crown and view from the bottom (much like peeping the underskirt of OLs)...
Are there different Triplock variants, or is there an issue with the supposedly new piece of gmt2 at this preowned shop...
Anyone with gmt2 (batman) can verify this?
