Can any bros & sis advice? I realise that my s GMT dial markers & hands have lost their lume, is it important to get them restored or anyway to restore the lume(glow)?
How long have you had the watch? Cos GMT Superluminova should be chemical based unlike older models with a Tritium compound that has a radioactive life of average 12years. Tritium will keep illuminating continuously whereas Superluminova is charged by light source and gives off lume when environment becomes dark.
If you require reading time in the dark, then probably change it else leave it.
GMT Master II - 116710LN (Dec 2013)

Mine is the tritium compound & it is 20+ yrs, Ty bro for the reply. So they have finished their lifespan n when you mention change, u mean replace the dial & all the hands?
Sorry for being blunt Ernest, but one of the most silly thing to do is to buy a vintage watch and try to make it looks like brand new by polishing and re-luming etc. It's better to just buy a new watch.
