Some watch buyers want the "AD" experience and peace of mind that what is bought is genuine and complete. Of course the watches may cost a bit more, as the AD has higher costs to operate than grey sellers. If buyers don't want the "buying experience" offered by the local ADs (not dissimilar to drinking coffee at Starbucks compared to kopitiam), then go for the best price the market has to offer.
BTW, for first time buyers from grey sellers, the booklets could be in languages other than English. These booklets (manuals, etc) can be exchanged to your preferred language at RSC without costs.
