Any Tax refund for getting rolex in HK?

Was quoted HKD 55,000-56,000 for a GMT2C SS. After conversion is SGD$8,800-$9,000.

      Hi,

Where in HK did you get this price?
      Is it from AD?

Current retail price in HK is about 61k. It is possible to get up to 8% discount from the AD in HK which could bring the price down to HK$56,000 or so.

batman seems to be almost the same or slightly higher than the grey set prices here, if you're getting from the AD, then i think it's alright if u really desire the watch.

I'm pretty sure 55k is lower than AD prices in sg. And grey dealers are selling around that price. So if u are getting it in HK from an AD direct, I think it's a reasonable deal. Try to ask for a watch pouch etc to be thrown in to sweeten the deal.

Local AD i walk in max given 10% discount 9.8k if i pay in cash. The 9.8K included the 7% GST so if you able to get a below 9.1K from HK AD you already save on the GST and getting from AD mean you also save the $107 plus trouble and time of going down to RSC.

                        Thanks for your reply.

Have just bargain with the HK AD and they have lower down the price for GMT2C to HDK 53.5K.
Will be going down to the shop on Thursdaybto close the deal.

9.8K in cash? That mean using cc will be higher in price.
The HK AD offer me 53.5K and able to use cc.

that what i was offered, i never really go into detail because i just checking around. for what i know locally SS sport series quite hard to bargain lower than 10% for walk in customer. can get 10% consider quite good bargain already.

If u like the watch I think it's a fairly good buy at 53.5k. Bite the bullet and BBB!
