  • DSSD or BP?

Going paris in November, contemplating which watch to get - DSSD or BP?

DSSD - more expensive but practical for outdoor sports, holiday snorkelling, etc.

BP 5009 - cheaper but really just a dress watch and i have been sucker for its look.

    Would like alternative views, TIA

Thanks, I also think the DSSD is more practical since its more than just good look. Already gotten two IWC but no rolex yet, maybe its time to take the leap. My only concern is the thin bracelet, if I were to change thicker leather or rubber strap, will there be an aftermarket strap for it?

When I wear the DSSD for long periods of time, I find it heavy and uncomfortable. Have 8 inch wrists. Changed to the RubberB strap and it now feels slightly better. If you are using the bracelet, won't be too concerned about the thinness. Prefer the Explorer II, Sub, GMT Master II or the Daytona anytime in terms of comfort. Ant they can be used for sports.

Went to see the BP and DSSD this evening, the BP Top Gun fits nicely but tagged at 26K with only 12% discount. The DSSD is only $15k before discount but size wise, it looks small on my wrist. I don't look nice in it, otherwise it's a great value piece to own.
