  • Power Reserve of GMT Master II

    Dear all,

Can I have some feedback regarding the power reserve of a GMT Master II?

    Some sources quoted 47 hours ( http://www.effectiveadvisory.com/win...116713-ln-bnib ),

but I seem to be getting less.. i.e. 36 hours at most. It's getting me slightly concerned

I too have similar problem. MY GMT2C is only about less then a month old, but it's running slow by quite a lot. Only skip a day or two of wearing, normally i'll wear it everyday.

U hv to ensure that it gets a full workout each day I believe. Hv it on for abt 8 hours a day and include some moderate movement to the wrist every now and then. Resting it for most part of the day on your work desk will not get it fully 'charged'. I am able to get close to 2 days. Cheers.

maybe next time rolex can include a power gauge on the watch..so owners need not worry so much...

Think the max range power reserve 47-48hrs is with full turning of the crown...

rem reading somewhere in RolexForums...the international website forum version of sg-roc...try giving it a full 30-50turns on the crown then monitor/measure the power reserve, without any wrist actions...see how far it can go...think like this more accurate to measure...

May not b the most correct way but read m google it online...slot of sifu n masters ard to give advices and share knowledges here n worldwide...learning a lot just by reading n researching...hv fun doing it! Last resort go back to Rolex centre Singapore n ask for a checkup! Cheers!
