Yep, I'm quite sure our local ADs only sell new ones

Most pe-owned watch dealer is selling above $13000 for V series or newer leh. Unless I can find owner who is willing to let go at $12000. Because dealer earn $1K+.

How did you manage to get 6% off a new daytona from a local AD? Did you buy more than 1 watch?

Daytona SS Black Dial has my vote! DSSD at 44mm wide (48mm including the crown) and 18mm thick, is top heavy and too big unless it sits on wrists that are more than 7" diameter. If the wearer is not used to the thickness, the watch will get knocked easily.

Maybe you want to try the AD at Raffles Hotel ? Not sure if they have stock for the same though....

                Daytona for me.

I wouldn't mind a DSSD though. Ideal for beach/boat holidays.

Daytona Black command premium over white dial. I went to check at ION, Wisma and Taka HG. All quote Black more expensive than White. At ION, they quote $2K+ more than white, Black no stock but white have stock. Wisma $1K+. But in HG a few hundred more.

But will only go a daytona when it goes 42mm in 2014/15

the funny thing is, the white daytona looks bigger and better than the black one

the white daytona also appears to be more popular than its black counterpart, see this poll result:

Maybe it's just a preference for Asians?

I was in similar situation. Bought daytona first . Will get Dssd once $$$ refill.

For me, the Daytona will be more comfortable to wear on a daily basis. DSSD is much thicker and chunkier, and many off-the-rack long-sleeved shirt cuffs do not fit well.

Dssd will look better on bigger wrist imo
