depends what u are in the market. both are sports models, 1 is diver 1 is chrono. DSSD wears big at 44mm, daytona slimmer profile at 39mm. price-wise DSSD is lower by a few thousands. how to decide? lol.

i see u have a nice collection of divers and GMTs, i think it deserves a daytona!

I bought the DSSD because I prefer the less busy layout.....

but the Daytona is growing on me when I see more pictures....thinking of getting one for a dressier feel in the future

I think ultimately, what is the watch face that talks to you more?

I was also like you, deciding between the two. In the end, I chose DSSD.

In terms of value retention, appeal and always a favorite among Rolex fans. It has to be Daytona.

DSSD is also a fine watch but a different monster from Daytona. The size and thickness appeal to some but not all people. If you are smaller or slimmer built, in business wear most of the time. Go for Daytona.

As for me, I am bigger in size and mostly in casual even at work, I see myself wearing DSSD daily.

Trust me. Eventually you will get both so it doesn't matter which one you buy first. Haha.

However I prefer to wear the dssd as the brushed links are less prone to scratches.

Try both, at least few a number of times, and see which one you like, and most importantly, which one blends nicely with your physique.

The only danger with the DSSD is that there is a risk of appearing as if one is trying to over-compensate for something. I'm just kidding..., when there's enough people wearing it, it doesn't matter anymore, just get what you like.
