The 10% discount given on stainless steel and half-gold models is a norm nowadays. But it may not be long as an impending price increase is coming.

Apologies for the ignorance but what would then be the pre owned shop price for these 2?

relatively new to forum and to rolex and so seek some advice. looking to purchase a DJ men's and seems like average pre-owned price is around 4-5k? I came across a 16234 mens white with computer dial and diamond markers for over $6k. seller indicated over 10 years old. is this price worth it?

also looking at ladies 69173 half gold with diamond markers. seller asking for 4.5k but its over 15 years old.

    what do you think?

I read thru; the thread. I dun understand the meaning of pin hole? Can someone enlighten me please. thank youin advance. Also I am looking for a pre-owned Lady DJ, didn;t find much info @ Rolex Garage forum. Look like i might need to visit the pre-owned shop. Any particular one has more stock and reasonable price. I only have a budget of not more than 6K. Do u think i can get one with Dia with this budget?

last i checked, and iirc, it was $800. thing is that was quite some time ago. my memory's fuzzy to the point that i can't recall if that price was for an oyster or a jubilee. i'm inclined to think that it's the former, and if not, then the non-solid latter. not sure if that's gone up too. my advice? try ur luck at one of the reputable dealers. when i got my datejust from russell @ hjwatch, i nearly traded in the oyster it came with for a jubi. of course i had to pay for the switch if it did happen, but it wasn't an outlandish figure. at least i didn't feel like i was getting ripped off by rolex. and comparatively, much smaller. do try ur luck at russell. great guy, good prices (or the other way around?). u can also try precision watch and chuan watch at golden landmark. but chuan watch ... hmm ... let's just i haven't had the best experience there. i'm gonna shut my trap here before i expose myself to any legal liability, so i'll just say that my experience as a customer wasn't fantastic. don't pm me. oh, give john @ jw a ring. he might be able to get some good lobang. he always has/does.

hope the above helps. see u over at the bikeforums, too.

    Please advice, thanks.
