you see PK stock always plentiful one, so they must be doing something right. I suspect that majority of their sales are from tourists, and exports.

By the way, I finally had some time to go to Peninsula SC or Plaza? today.

Went to PK and it was selling same model but earlier series for $5300!
After reading some of your comments earlier, I guess PK's prices are very high.
But a check with a shop, next door - the WG 116234 (brand new) is being offered at $7200 (after discount).

My mistake - did not bring the watch for PK's appraisal.
I don't know how to calculate depreciation but I guess my selling price is a bit too low.
Should I put it now around +$5000?
I sincerely need your comment about this.

It's ur mistake only when u bring it there...hahaha...probably the amt they quote u is 2k odd to 3k at most. That time I brought my vintage DJ there...they quote 1k plus only.

DO NOT!! , I repeat...DO NOT!!! take PK's selling price as a guage for market price. A SS DJ which is same as urs is worth ard 4k in the second hand market for ,and this price I am talking about is what a 2nd hand dealer is selling.

You may wish to ask for 5k if u want I wont stop u...but it won't really be moving. First it's way above market price and second...you dun hav chio bu to promote for u...hahaha

totally agree in regards to the SA placement. Once I act like a blur tourist looking to buy rolex, and omg....... 100% chop carrot head!! I can confirm One of the person come out, ask me want to buy, go and see inside his sister, piangz..... really if buy hor, might as well buy brand new.

I should have started to converse in hokkien and proceed to tell them that THH is selling at $9xxx, only marginal difference ..... but decided against it.

I dun deny PK watches price really cut throat but i personally feel tat their overhaul of the pre-ownes are good lah!
Bought few watches from them and RSC servicing quotation is always lesser than those i bought frm other shops.
Not in any way affiliated to them hor but these are just my personal views..

at the prices they charge, it better be, come with B&P too ................ . Also it depends on your bargaining power, if they are desperate for sales (highly doubt it), they may be willing to talk and throw in extra for you............ but I have yet to experience something along those lines.

They at first declined but when i wanna walk away they bla bla bla...
And i got it!
According to them, original 16233 links cost almost $200 a piece!
Dunno true or not but wat matters is i made out wif somethin extra.
Call me cheapo but i derive pleasure from these things lah.. hee hee..

That is price you pay for wearing "king hat". ALot of the president bracelet is re manufactured with Italian gold.
