last week in raffles place, I saw a lady in late 30s wearing black suit and wearing a mens day date with president bracelet, actually looks cool.

At my cousins wedding I wore a jacket and my yellow gold day date, I think I look ok

IMO you got to dress up before you wear a day date,minimum shirt and pants to avoid look like those Ah peks who make any watch look bad.

I guess after wearing my gold GMT2c, i cannot accept the hollow links of the 18238.

the watch is too light and doesnt feel solid or chunky enough.

so perhaps i'll be looking at a 118238 although i dont fancy polished lugs.

IMO not worth buying the 118238.
The costs of the 18238 is only 30% of the price of a new 118238 and 60% to 70% of a pre-own 118238.

visually, without inspecting it in your hand, both look identical except for the polished lugs which you can achieve with cape cod on a 18238 I prefer the brush finish.

I suggest you dont ruin a authentic rolex president bracelet by cutting it.

buy a aftermarket bracelet, those come with multiple screw on links so can re-size to fit anyone.

Bro, u also pulled it off with gd taste even in polo & pants. I never though the DD cld be worn so casually & yet stylishly, it has got to be the one wearing it that matters. The YG DD was like a magnet for my eyes, I cldnt take my eyes off yr wrist the whole time!
