                hi,

here's the pic of the watch

                hi uncle lau,
i'm not really into luxury watch at the moment, it is a lot money for a second hand watch.
may be later... i'm still in love with my Seiko Spirit.... gorgeous and affordable (~S$500).

picture courtesy from seiyajapan.com, lots of jap dosmetic model there, you guys may want to have a look.

The Seiko Spirit is a very nice watch indeed, abit the pricing is a bit high compared to the local seikos.

Definately one to watch out for.

                      hi mickey,
Jap domestic model is usually more expensive than M/sia made Seiko. But the built quality is top notch. Every detail has been carefully take care of and they are normally more handsome than international Seiko.
Japanese are some weird people, they keep the good things to themself only...

i had a problem with my wife DD. she found a tiny hair line scratch on the crystal. it was not detected during our inspection in the shop, only visible under bright light or during day time at certain angle only. I called back the shop and they told me they will try to find a replacement for me.
anyone one know how much to change the crystal of lady dd? i did some searched in forums, it cost around S$130 for men's model. i wonder is it the same for lady model?

Bro Sev, i am sorry to hear about your Mrs rollie, in such case it is wise to wait for the shop where you purchase from, for them to repair or replace the crystal. Do check with them when is the expected date of replacement and every sales do come with a guarantee period at least a year.
Be firm bro !!! I know there must be some forum member are lawyers here hehe don't worry have good faith

Hi Sev, the seiko spirit however will fetch at least S$500 and up. Quality Jap made watches do come with a quality price tag.

Would love to get myself the spirit white faced this coming christmas as an excuse.

If they need that sales they will chase after you , you pay cash n leave ! Must send to Rolex centre to check the next day cost $75.
Of course try not to return to where you purchase for a year or two like me
i got a pair of DJ without paying GST n i try not to appear in People Park area
                              Good Luck !!!
I totally agree with Uncle Lau. If you must, then go to the pre-owned shops to deal. If not, be patient & view through sg-roc selling threads to deal. I've done some good buys through sg-roc. All the best.

after 1 weeks+ of monitoring, my wife's datejust runs +4 sec a day constantly.
it is so accurate! no wonder a Rolex watch is so expensive...

but i had a problem to set the minute hand point exactly at the marker.
it looks right on the dot when setting, but after the crown is pushed back and it starts ticking, it will run off by a little in the next minute.
anyone has a good way to set the minute hand to make it point to each marker accurately?
