Does anyone here own a rolex day-date 18239b Tridor ?
Seems like a very unusual model (for those of you wanting a photo, its ebay item #120601060382).
... solid WG case, bracelet made with different fused colour bands of white, yellow and rose gold ... and I think platinum(?).
Apparantly quite rare. The magic is the advancement of rolex materials science which allows them to do the fusing of the different gold in precisely the same manner ... otherwise the lines on the band won't run straight.
I get a kick out of the idea I can walk around with what looks like a gold/steel datejust but is in effect a chunk of gold :P
The only thing which is a bit of a bore is the brown dial.
