  • Datejust dial fonts

    Hi, researching datejust dials recently.
Found out that some vintage series like 1601, 16014 all have different dial fonts. Is it normal?

for eg..the words :" rolex, oyster perpetual, datejust", in some dials the words are bigger than others. Are they the rolex originals?

thanks for any input on this.

    Bigger as in how big?

There maybe possbility that during the transition they changed the font size but usually very minimal difference

earlier 160xx datejusts had a smaller font size. later versions are comparably bigger.

        check VRM for some examples.
