DD 1803 WG president with oyster clasp

hello !
i have a 1803 Day Date white gold from 1972.
it has a president bracelet with an oyster clasp.
i thought a president bracelet normally comes with a hidden clasp.

it was bought in a HONG KONG store in 1974.

can anybody help ?

buyers of the 1803 and the 80s single quickset DD models 18038 had the option of the oyster clasp or hidden clasp.

this can be seen in the Day date booklets I have for both the 1803 and and single quickset models.

In fact, I prefer the oyster clasp in vintage pieces because they have discontinued this style and president bracelets with oyster clasp are getting really hard to find.
