  • Meteorite Dial

I can't decide whether to get a ladies datejust with rhodium dial, mother of pearl dial or a meteorite one. What's your take? I'm looking for an everyday watch and I'm wondering if i should pay the price premium for meteorite and mother of pearl face. Thanks thanks!

Mother of pearl is "too mother" for me, meteorite I can't comment as I have not seen one in person, but anyway I will not pay a premium for such "special dial".

Agree, the meteorite comes with everrose bracelet so the price differential is significant, approx 4-5k more...
Two pictures taken from rolex web to show the contrast.

Didn't Rolex make a Daytona with a meteorite dial some time back? Anybody here has one? Would love to see some pics.

MOP or Meteorite if you wanna have a exclusive and rare dial which is not common.

No MOP is the same but can any exbirds clarify if it's the same for the meteorite dial?

Mop dial some smooth smooth some rough rough. Do people generally prefer one over the other?

                            Hi there,

I am also new here. I am also deciding on either Meteorite dial or dark peacock MOP.

I am afraid that meteorite dial is like a "seasonal" dial, like those in the pass where they have ammonite dials and other mineral stone dials.

Please advice. I dunno which dial should i go for. Thank you
