Rolex Day Date White Gold 18039 President !

This one is for all the Day Date fans, not many have come across a white gold SINGLE quickset 18039 model because during the 1980s Yellow Gold was the "In" colour and White gold didn't sell well so not many were produced by Rolex.

1980 WG DD complete with papers and box.

It is actually very similar to a 18239 double quickset and not possible to tell unless you actually try the setting.

those who don't like all the Diamonds + bling bling may consider this simple macho & handsome piece. Hope you enjoy the pictures

whenever you buy a day date, check and check that all the markings above are clear and deep and the 4 legs of the case are sharp and in equal proportion.

if any of the markings appear rubbed off or case is rounded at the ends or thin it is an indication that the case been polished.

also the serial and model numbers must also be crisp and clear.

this watch and the other pink DD I bought direct from the owner, 1st owner buyer.

I saw a damn awesome condition YG 18238 today...bracelet was solid! But sold already....and after trying..I realise...YG + diamonds not that suitable for me. Maybe YG with white roman face ? Hahaha or like many say...it can wait another 20 years!

Hi, Just wondering if you can advice how much does it cost to change a white gold bezel on a day date. How does RSC charge and do I get to keep the old bezel? I scratched my bezel and wondering if it is worth changing it. Thanks.
