    Rolex 1601 - Solid Gold

    Hi All,

    Intent on getting a solid gold head with leather strap for my dad this coming quarter. The 1601 solid gold looks quite good but can't seem to find a retailer selling it. Shops at PK seems to hold only those with bracelets.

    What should i expect to pay for one?

    Hi,

    I know of someone who is a free-lance seller who has a solid gold gents model (head only) selling at 5K. Not sure of the model though but should be much newer model than a 1601 as I don't remember seeing any pin-holes. If you are interested, I can introduce you to him.

          I dont think 1601 comes in solid gold.

          1601 is a pin hole model. At that time, all came with pin holes
