Oi hard to say hor! I got a close friend who eyed a 'qian jing siao jie' twenty years ago. And at that time, he was constantly pampering her, buying gifts, spending on her, even though she was a millionaire's daughter. My friend's just a commoner. I recalled him buying her a "few thousand dollars" ROLEX watch (known as "investment" ). And what resulted : ZERO!! He benefited nothing from her and she chose another rich man son to marry. But one thing's for sure, she benefited A LOT from my gullible friend!!

I'm nt saying tis watch is ugly or s'thing. In fact, I like it alot but te problem is when in comparison wif the whole ROLEX range, the price has become ABSURD! If only I can get a BNIB pc for less than $5k, I'd consider buying one.

20 years ago!! old memories hor but for my case, I don't thnk of it as not an investment lar. Its more like a token of my appreciation to her for sticking around with a poor bloke like me through the years...

Wah seh...your friend hor...1 thing I can say...I just feel sad for him lor. Waste so much money seh. Or maybe she knew his PLOT to get close to her and maybe strike it rich from marrying her, then she gave up on him or she gave up on him after he ran out of money.

I was watching this show just now....and for this kinda situation only can use "lai har ma xiang chi tian er rou" If he truely likes her she can tell 1,but if he truely likes her money it's quite obvious also.

its quite true that when you see two couples, you know whether they are after something, some is obvious that they want free ***, others want $$, etc.

I have to agree that the most it is "worth" is around 3k, esp when you consider that it is the simplest of all the rolex sports range
