Most importantly, you must enjoy the watch you love. There are some celebrities who are guys, wear ladies' watches. Why nobody question them? To me, the most important part is to enjoy the process of wearing the watch. It's really pointless to put inside the safe and view it occasionally. I wear my watches everyday... and some special ones on special occasions!

i have to agree also with bro SDM that a YG DD is an uncle's watch to most of the general crowd
but for those whom are big fans of DDs (like bro Ian & yours truly), i think such comments just don't apply to them...

i wear a YG DD to work everyday since i bought mine and as expected,
i get comments from colleagues & friends saying: "aiyoh...why you wear such a uncle's watch... "
and my classic reply will always be:"oh...because uncle can"

anyone remember Infernal Affairs Part 2? the one with carina lau and edison,in the movie Francis Ng wears the classic YG DD (no diamonds) very cool looking with his suit and tie. he don't look a single bit like a Ah pek!
like I said,it is how you present yourself.


That show is a one big advert for Rolex YG DD.
In one scene Francis Ng even takes off his DD and placed it on the table at the police station and the camera zoooms in on the watch close enough to see the time.
The rest of the cops are wearing ss subs , explorers etc

I wear my SS DJ almost everyday, model 1603, the watch is 42 years old now according to CIRCA no. very comfortable. I feel so great owing an vintage, retro... look, people will see you with different light. We know how to appreciate a old time piece.
