Just wondering what your opinions are on those pre-own day dates with custom modied diamond bezel and dials, would you buy one?

you know which shop is fond of doing this

personally,I think you will have problems with RSC if you need servicing / repairs.

I like DDs in their original form.18K gold attracts enough attention.

I will prefer buying one without any customised bezel or dial. But I will add a customised diamond bezel which I like and keeping the original fluted bezel.

Buy the Face dial ? buy original better, more expensive but the quality of workmanship , if you want cheap but just OK only go to ebay US, selling around USD 200 n above, most of the items from US but made in Taiwan.
Diamond wise not as good as original, cos Rolex diamond quality hard to find .
Installation can go Golden Landmark labour around $40 for facedial but also depends on the watch.
