Hi I have seen lots of ladies DJ in second hand shops. You can try K** w***** at People's Park Centre.
They even have different designs of diamond bezel to select from.
But please do keep the original bezel for future resale value.

Why will the watch not be waterproof if after market bezel is put on? Take it that RSC don''t do it, outside do it. Cannot ask the shop to do water proof test after change of bezel? If done properly, why will the watch not be water proof?

Don‘t do it on your watch on purpose, the watch is not waterproof if you put after market bezel.

But if you die die want to put, pawn shop alot, those sell gold shop also have.

It looks very nice in the picture but it is actually very small in size when compared to the current lady datejust models. I won't pay 3k usd for it as aftermarket market dial and bezel are available cheaply on ebay.

Besides, this is a rather old watch so you must have contacts to local service shops who can do servicing for the watch. Rolex Service Centre will not service for you due to aftermarket parts.

This was actually close to my target... I like the "blink" factor.

This seller has a 100% positive rating and claims that the movement and case is original. Dial is refurbished with aftermarket diamonds. Bezel is custom made with aftermarket diamonds and bracelet is custom aftermarket (not for all of his models though) as well. Returns accepted (pay own shipping) and provides one year warranty including shipping costs for repairs.

So what do you think? Too much blink???

Honestly... if it is around 3k... I don't mind buying. Only concern... if she don't like, I will have to sell it or worse... stuck with it.

I think if you intend to keep the watch for good .. should be perfectly fine with the customised bezel or dial or customised case .. It is common for rolex owners to fix up a customised diamond bezel on their DJ/DD. However, if you have a customised case then it would be a challenge to flip or sell in the future unless the potential buyer fancy the design/outlook of it.

this picture does not show anything that is related to water proof.

I spoke to a watch technician and he show me that this gasket sits between the case and sapphire glass, this according to him ensures the water proof. This gasket must be installed properly.



I don't agree that one can go diving without the bezel but I am more incline with you that changing the bezel will not affect the water proof base on my above picture showing that there is no parts to ensure prevent leaks.

You can dive with your deepsea even w/o the bezel. I change my sub bezel all the time.
