I have yet been to Europe to buy. But within Asia, as I've mentioned in various posts on my first acquisition, it's indeed much cheaper in Seoul DFS. I paid USD 7.2k for the GMT Master II.

If you got yours at USD 7.2K (abt S $9K), then my recent purchased GMT Master2C is much cheaper than yours.
I got it below S $8.5K in HK.

Great! I always thought mine was already a good deal. But you have an even better deal. It's indeed more economical. Care to share where you get it from? I'll be traveling to HK soon and I can try to see if I can get another watch there.

Agree 100%. The prices in HK have factored in the Chinese chai tao (vegie head)! They have become very expensive in recent years. No longer is HK the destination for fair priced Rolexes.

Seoul is definitely more ex than HK! Within this region HK and Japan are best but for the best of the best deals, EUR is still the way to go...

Well, either of those places but here, Singapore ! *&^%$ to the GST
