The gmt2 and ym2 r appealing bcos the color blue is easy on the eyes and moreover, they are in stainless steel, So their prices will be more affordable. As for the daytona which is in full platinum, it will defintely gg to cost much much more than the current chocolate dial.

The personally find the new blue GMT Master a little lacking compared to the current green one due to the contrast of the blue GMT needle with the black dial. Although it is some sort of lightning blue, the contrast doesn't seems strong enough. Despite that, still have to see the real thing before killing it straight away.

The Tudor versions added in some spice to the Daytona design.. Especially liked the red markers one. It somehow gave the watch a bit more rebellious and sportiness feel.
Life is a gamble. It's either you win or you lose. But if you don't even dare to try... You are destined to be a loser

The new YM is basically the same model as the current one, just that it's in SS right? Can't see any other difference.

Esepcially the blue hands. equally elegant and sporty.
The time in life is perpertually moving forward while that in the watch is going in circles.

the GMT-MASTER II isnt printed in blue?

the marketing strategy is good because just like submariner with LV u can sell higher price.

Anyone know what's going to happen to the current green GMT? The 116710 LN?

Also, is this new blue GMT in commemoration of something?

Rolex market strategy is to targeting the new generation IMO: Color is not something easy to be accepted by men in the old time: This is a new millennium men love and some go crazy for Color: Why very easy so rolex not uncle anymore: more new generation will love it: Is not easy for uncle like me to accept: If the new generation start to love rolex: I can say if is work and Rolex market will stay more strong: And uncle like me also start to join and enjoy:

Not sure if the current GMT will continue. For this new orh chee(blue black) version, blue is chosen because blue represents day and black represents night. However, I have come across feedbacks saying that the actual thing looks more like purple than blue. Not sure whether true or not. Hope it's not cos I like the blue as shown in picture very much. Anyway, my guess is that next round they will launch red, then the next next round, green....like that win liao loh....Conquer the whole market, whether you are the new generation type that likes something more different or the traditional type who prefer more classic colors.

Not sure when can see the actual thing in Singapore. Smelly smelly gotta wait a few mths right?

I think rolex will not doing the same thing: For the example old LV bezel green face black: new LV all green: What you think going to be for the red october sub: how if this happen for the new red october sub: Red blood haha don't be surprised when this happen:

Love the new models, Daytona platinum is perfect but will be costly. Will be considering the SS YM & GMT, esp the GMT with new dual colours ceramic bezel. With this feat, for sure the long dreaming red and black or red and blue ceramic bezel will be out in the near future. Rolex is truly amazing!
