Can someone advise me the resale value between Rolex date and explorer II?
What is the 2nd hand rate and the brand new rate?

I think your questions are quite vague because the resale value depends on many factors such as age (of watch), condition (+accessories if any), etc-etc. More descriptions will help.

Do you mean getting one ROLEX or other brand(s)? If the former, then it depends on your taste/preference. First cut is what type suits you better, such as :

a. Sports models (SD/Sub/ExpI/II/YM/Daytona/Milgauss).
b. Klassik models (Date/DJ/AK/Cellini).

Secondly, if sports, then which model in particular. Followed by what colour. Same as choosing a klassik model.

I prefer those that have date and white face with roman lettering boy size.

my advise....SS Datejust or SS Explorer II would be gd.

A simple 1 like this...in roman lettering is easily available in most preowned dealers. Just avoid Peng Kwee...they have the largest range but also the biggest carrot choppers hahaa

Thanks for the advise. Have 1 shop offer me the 7 series (with date and roman lettering)at the price of 4K and another shop offer me 2800 for the one without date. what you think?
