I have some rolex watch in my possession. But the warranty card is not under my name. and some even do not have any name. even though i bought it brand new, i bought it through SG Roc. It is because of the affordable price given to me. but i believe that these rolex watches had the names of the original owner imprint on the warranty card. are there any ways for me to re-register, to make my name be the owner of the watch. (like buying a car and re-register the name in the log-card). if can, where can i make the changes. can i go to the Rolex Centre Singapore to ammend the changes. and do i need to pay or F.O.C??? to all members, please help me. i need help. once the name is written on the paper/card, it cannot be amended.
it only allows the first owner's name on it.

rolex center will never re-issue a warranty card
once it is named and dated , it is named and dated
that explains why unnamed undated warranty cards are sought after by collectors
if the alien name really bothers you, try to remove it with alcohol and cotton swabs*
dab cotton swab with small amount of alcohol and apply to the ink, and remove the liquid stains aptly with clean cotton swabs to prevent over-smudging
repeat the step till name disappear - there will be ink stains and the paper on the warranty card might be damaged, but u never see the name again
*caveat: do this at your own risk

I read somewhere this is due to problems surfacing when an innocent owner goes to hv his watch serviced and the RSC says the warranty has expired acc to their database. The watch was verified as genuine but there were no name or date on the card. It could be that the watch was bought from a sincere grey seller only that the original source probably passed it off as BNIB but nobody checked the original purchase date from an AD.
I guess Rolex must hv encountered many other similar problems hence ADs are required to fill in Names and Date for every sale. I think the names are not as important as the date but the procedure has to be followed.I will own a Rolex ................ someday!

When we bought our watches at the Rolex boutique in Milan, we were given the choice of either using our own names on the respective warranty cards or 'ANONYMOUS'. The term 'anonymous' is legit as the watch can be purchased as a prize, gift or even for resale as some owners prefer not to have their own name on it when the watch is sold to another party.
