Met up a grey dealer today to view a brand new submariner 116610LN. However the certificate/ warranty card shows that the watch was bought from an AD in Chennai India and purchased date is mar'13. I am concern about the authenticity of the watch since it is purchased from india and will the re-sale value be affected? Your advise is very much appreciated. Thanks!

Would you buy Rolex watch from Chennai India 's AD?
Hi guys! I am new to this forum. Would like to seek your advise about getting a brand new submariner frm a grey dealer here. The watch is brand new comes with certificate and box. However, my only draw back is due to the chennai India AD. I am not sure how to judge the authenticity of the watch as this is my first time getting a Rolex. Also, will country of purchase affect the future re-sale value? Is the AD in the certificate one of the factor to consider about on buying a watch? Advice pls thanks alot!

First you can search for the AD company in the ROLEX website. If it is truly a ROLEX AD, you should see it. Second, you can send the watch to verify it's authenticity at the ROLEX Service Centre in S'pore. Speak with the seller about your intentions before committing to anything else. The fee to authenticate should still be $107.
Good luck!
