GMT IIc Price up?

Dear Rolexperts,

I was at raffles city cortina last night (n saw the cartier girl hahah) anyways i was told that the gmt IIc's price is now fixed at 9599.. is there any shred of truth here? another seller somewhere else also told me that the price is "fixed" at 9900 (due to alot of complains that the price for this model is so volatile).. anyone can shed some light on this matter?

The list price for this model is S$9599. Whether to get any discount depends on many factors.
