There is no particular watch shop that sell everything cheap under 1 roof. It will depends on the watch model, age, condition, overhead cost of shop and most importantly the take in price of the watch that he is selling to you. If the shop owner buy high, definitely he has to sell high.

So do walk around different shop before deciding..

I got my first Rolex from another forummer and the condition is as good as new and with full papers and box including receipt as well. It all depends on which method you are more comfortable with parting your money. Some go to shops that offer interest free installment for their dream watches and some prefer to pay in full cash.

The place (shop or forum seller) that has the particular model you desire, at the right condition and right price is the right place!

Unless you are looking for specific vintages, there should be plenty of choices around. Do your home work and shop around. The bros and sis here in this forum are very helpful so feel free to ask.

Depends on model. When call rolex to enquire due to curiousity , my sub half gold cost $950+ without GST... for servicing. Verdict, the more exp yr watch, prepared to pay higher price...

a chrono watch usually costs more to service than base models. Likewise for RSC charges
