Which one will you keep?

I'll keep the Coke for the following reasons:

1) Its an iconic piece and there's no new replacement model for it at the moment.

2) The GMT movement with the jumping hour hand makes it a true traveler's time piece, very handy.

3) A mint condition model is not easy to come by

4) The coke bezel is a beauty

Hi, I need a bit of help here.

If you have these two watches:

1. Submariner 16610 'V' (black steel bezel); and
2. GMT Master II 16710 'Z' ("Coke" bezel).

.. and you can only have one to keep. Which will you keep and why?

Both are in very good conditions and comes in AD-standard sets.

And pls if you intend to share your thoughts and opinions here, don't divert from the intended aim and suggest otherwise.

It depends on where your heart lies as a collector or user ... as a collector, I stick with 'coke' model

Depends on what else you have in your collection. If its just these 2, I'll keep the Sub as its more versatile and easier to match whatever you're wearing.

If you have other versatile watches for daily use, then keep the coke.

IMHO, keep the Coke!
Since both are in really good condition means they are not your everyday's watch.
And Coke is definitely more rare and unique to be in any collection.

Black-dial subs are everywhere, I feel it's a good daily beater because it is easy to match clothes.
But definitely doesn't turn heads, On the other hand, Coke is a head-spinner.

I sold my Submariner a few years ago and my Pepsi last year due to constant upgrading. If I wish to get back one watch, it would no doubt be the Pepsi. But the probem is I couldnt find a similar Pepsi in the market right now, let alone at the right price! Now I am starting to regret selling my Pepsi. So IMHO, keep your Coke!

One more thing to add, i fully agree with what Bro Pegasi has said. Wear a watch that reflects your personality and not one that others like. I find myself closer to the Pepsi than an Iconic Sub. What's yours? This should be an important deciding factor.

I sell the Coke and keep the Sub..basically because I believe having newer watches
