Have you considered something different like a vintage Rolex? There is a nice Gent that sells on a Sunday at China Square where a couple of weeks ago he had a 1680 Submariner for 6,600 which had a beautifully aged dial - only issue was the peal dot doesnt match but you can pick one up on ebay if you have patience - anyone can buy a new Rolex however a vintage one is always a conversation point and you will stand out - classic models like the Submariner 1680, 16800 transitional or 5513 can be had for well within your budget just make sure they have been serviced and if in doubt take pictues and post here for an opinion.

For a start, maybe TS can go for Stainless Steel Watches for daily wear like 1,5,6 and 7.
      Current Collection :

      1) Rolex YG White Mother of Pearl Roman Dial Datejust 16018 (8 mil Serial)

      2) Rolex YG Black Computer Roman Dial Datejust 16238 (L Serial)

      3) Rolex TT Blue Submariner 16613LB (M Serial)

      4) Rolex YG Red Vignette DayDate 18038 (8 mil Serial)

      5) Rolex PT Pinkish White MOP DayDate 18206 (A Serial)

Problem is, I've always been told that my 1st Rolex is the one for life...and I dun really wanna start my 1st Rollie by buying a 2nd hand. I know I know, it's a warped logic but it's me...

TT models are beautiful but the gold part really scratches easily! It's not exactly that ah pek or ah long look... But they all 3 models exceed your $10k budget though...
