  • My First Good Watch

    hi there

My everyday carry has been G-SHOCKS and SWATCHES.

I thought of getting myself a good watch for my 31th birthday.

    Been looking at EXPLORER II(WHITE).

The problem is my budget is only SGD 4 -5 K. Is ROLEX still within my reach?
Or should I go for pre-owned?

    TIA

With 4-5K, you can get a pre-owned Exp II. Check out this thread for more info --> http://www.sg-roc.com/showthread.php?t=133

Depends on condition, age , and whether it's complete with accessories or not. Starts from 4.5K (more than 10yr old) for the 16610

well if u prefer new, i think its still within ur reach. a wht face ExII costs about 6.5k++ aft discount.

Nevertheless, there're still many good cond pre-owned wht faces that are within ur budget. Gd luck for ur watch hunt

                  Thanks for the input guys!

I am also looking at the new ORIS ARTELIER SKELETON.

what do you think? way affordable than the EXP II.

Hi, this skeleton watch is nice? How much is the price? I prefer metal one like this.

If that is going to be a first good watch, I would suggest you go for Rolex (my own opinion). My first is a Submariner and I never regret having that as my first.

Hope you get ur dream watch. Merry X'mas.
