  • Have you visited Cash Converters Website/Facebook?

Hi bros/sis, i was browsing thru the web for a rolex gmt master II when i chance upon cash converters website. They actually launched a online catalogue for all their branded watches and jewellery. I'm surprised they have a rolex 16233 for only $3000+ which is very cheap.

    Check this site out:

Can't really say it's cheap without considering the age and condition of the watch. Generally I find the stuff in there not cheap, more so for the watches.

Basically they are a mega karung guni

Agree with most ppl here tat CC is not a gd option 2 buy pre-owned rollies or luxury watches per se, given their condition/pricing etc. Better get from fellow forumers here in sg-roc or those shops as advertised above. But i'll leave it up 2 u 2 decide since u r the 1 buying?

No No No! Dun buy from CC. They dunno market and anyhow priced the watch. Few years back i saw a very well used 16610 selling without full set at a very high price (Can't rmb the price but the price they quoted can buy a full set preown here liao). Since then i dun even step into CC.

The issue is ...do u trust the CC buyers who buy in the watches from customers to do a proper check for authencity?

if given a choice, i prefer to buy from fellow forumers, any preowned watches shop in golden landmark cos their prices is according to market rate and if u r lucky u get slightly better offer. again is up to you to decide on which is better and convenient place for ur purchase. as for me 100% no to buy watches from CC.

                      Hi

I visited the shop in China town (near the MRT). Lot of high end watches, Omegas, Rollies, one IWC and a couple of Breitlings. I know a bit about the latter two brands. Both of them were priced way higher then the market price. For example the Omega moonwatch was priced at 5,500 $ ...now com on..who pays that much !! (in the right mind). And you are right they know very little.....probably buy dirt cheap and try and sell it close to the market price

So far I can cc selling these watches at high price .. Even neg also won't save much. Get from sg roc or reputatable shops better.
Just another small small small small watch user ....
