  • Red submariner?

Is it truth that there's a submariner that has red dials and red bezel which is for the JDM market? I has a friend that swears by it that there's one, which I know is only the words is in red thus it's called the red sub.
Anyone cares to share? From what I knows, submariner has black dials, grenn dials, black bezel, green bezel. Is there really a red around? Or is just plain aftermarket?

Dial and bezel likely to be aftermarket or reconditioned.

So it should be aftermarket stuffs n not originally red from Rolex?
He's so sure it's original red dial/bezel from Rolex.

You probably can ask Mr Lim of Top Hour to make one for you - through repainting the bezel and dial. I understand he sends to KL for the job. Alternatively, you can visit Petaling Street and get one.

before bamford, projectx, etc, japan enthusiasts used to know for their (now neo-vintage) rolex watch customization.

for an example, google japan rolex real mccoys
