No, they will not. Because, there is nothing wrong with a crown being off position.

Adjust Triplock crown to 12 o'clock

Is there a way to adjust the winding crown so that it lines up correctly? I feel slightly miffed that the crown on my Breitling Chrono Avenger lines up perfectly and that cost me only a third of my new Sub 116610LN

A valid claim, but I'm afraid it's not rolex's specification to align the logo of the winding crown swee swee during assembly. Why they dun do that i also dunno.

I got my new GMT2C with the crown upside-down.

this crown lining up thing is by no means a mark of distinction... purely esthetical.

                      it is possible.

you need to have the entire tube replaced and then slowly adjusted.

or you can try finding a replacement crown that will sit just right when it's screwed down.

either way, you're screwed! (tongue in cheek)

When I had my first luxury watch during my 18th bday, a Tag, I had wanted to align the shield logo 'upright' but i had since moved on.
I realised at the end of the day, for me, its purely a crave for 'complete' perfection', which adds to nothing. So now i am totally 'forgiving' in that aspect.

If you are really into that detail, the thread and the revolution has to be timed and calculated, you might need some grinding too, i dont know.

Some years ago I saw a watchmaker did this. First he separate the crown and the movement from the case, then he slowly file the thread on the case and constantly screw in the crown to check alignment....

But i suspect the waterproofness might just be compromised.
