Haha np...hope im not 'sabo`ing' him The uncle super nice..went back a few times as watch didnt sit centered on my wrist and he adjusted the links till I got it right. He even helped to buff out a very slight hairline, all for free. Impressed and grateful ..

IMO just do it yourself. Always paranoid about the scratched links, esp the polished-ends.
It's really easy. All you need is a appropriately-sized screwdriver that fits the screwhead groove, a steady hand, and lots of time. Before that, you will need to assess which side of the clasp are you going to remove the links from. Or else you might find that the clasp is not centrally positioned when you put on the watch.
