            Hi colour pencil,
I have provided a pic of a Sub bracelet for illustration on how to count your links. You do not have to separate the bracelet from your SD case of course. But you should fully extend the bracelet by opening up the smaller divers' extension links to get a better view. Usually its longer on the outer wrist side with 7 links and shorter on the inner wrist with 6 links. The reason for this is that its easier to view and fasten the clasp when wearing your watch. So the total is 13 links. Hope that helps.

btw : nice fonts in your nic!

            Cheers,
            Taipan.

Hi Oceanklassik, I like the links on an oyster bracelet whether its single clasp or flip-lock clasp. Most of the Rolex sports models like the Sub, SD, GMT Master 1 & 2, Explorer 1 & 2 and Daytona Cosmographs use the brushed Oyster bracelets. In addition, the sides are polished although the Sub & SD Oyster bracelets have brushed sides. But I recall some series of the earlier GMT Master models use the Jubilee bracelets with a chain-like link in the middle portion. You will find more polished surfaces on a Jubilee bracelet and here is a good source and pic !

Hello Taipan. I'm glad you like the pic. See, I'm the one who made it!

Just to be accurate, I should point out that the Jubilee bracelet on the GMT Master II was not actually on that watch. I bought my GMT II in 2001, and I was wondering how it would look with a Jubilee bracelet on it. So I pulled a photo of the GMT II from the Rolex website, and another watch (it might have been a DateJust, but I don't remember) from their site. I used a programme called Ulead PhotoImpact to cut out the Jubilee bracelet and paste it onto the picture of the watch. Then I put it up on my webpage so that I could get friends' opinions as to which they liked better.

I did eventually find a new, original Jubilee bracelet with the correct end-links, and that is what's on the watch now. (Well, maybe not -- I took it in for an overhaul Sunday. For all I know it may be in pieces right now!) My watch does look like the one on the left with the Jubilee bracelet, but I wanted to let people know that that photo is actually a composite.

                      Cheers!

But I asked one shop, they say if I want to buy They can help me find. But if they found it I must buy irregardless of wats the price they charge me. Is it the norm? How much will it cost?

Hmm...interesting... At least they should provide you an estimate cost of the gold links. Otherwise they can always mark up the price anytime. The gold price itself is already high and I foresee the gold links don't come cheap either...

Maybe you can try bonfield, http://www.bonfield.com.sg/Accessories/WatchLinks.aspx. Or else Rsc that's all i know, other forum members might be able to help you.

What you need to do with little effort is to just walk in to the ROLEX Service Centre located at Tong Building, Orchard Road, and asked for the price of the item you are buying. With the information that you have, you can then make a price comparison with the watch shop that you are seeking from.

                              Simple enough?

                                Where to add/remove links?

Besides going back to RSC, where can I go to for add/remove links and adjust my bracelet? RSC will do it for me FOC as my watch is still underwarranty, but its a pain to go to Orchard Road.
